Dr.T.RAJARAJAN MD, currently serving as the Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Nephrology at Kauvery Hospital in Trichy, brings over a decade of expertise in general nephrology, renal transplantation, and interventional nephrology. He has successfully performed around 400 renal transplants, including ABO-incompatible, HLA-sensitized, pediatric, and deceased donor transplants. Notably, he was the first to establish a successful ABO-incompatible renal transplant program in the central and southern districts of Tamil Nadu and is among the few to perform pediatric ABO-incompatible renal transplants. His contributions to renal transplantation have been recognized with awards from the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2017 and 2021, as well as the Young Achiever Award from Times of India in 2018.
